Did you know that in Romania, 98% of the Roma (Gypsy) population (over 600,000 people) have never heard about Jesus? Would you believe that many Romanian elderly live in poverty, meaning they live on less than $2 a day? Because of poverty in Romania, impoverished families abandon over 8,000 children to government shelters every year.
Robin and Aaron Bruski took their five children to Romania over Christmas break to serve the orphans. That one trip over 10 years ago changed their lives. They couldn’t forget the impoverished and abandoned people they had served so they moved their family from Georgia to Romania. They have been caring for orphans, educating children, empowering women, and teaching their community about Jesus for the past 10 years. CCC partners with the Bruskis and Belief in Motion by sending teams to Romania to work alongside them supporting their efforts in caring for the forgotten.
