Service

What’s a service like?
You can expect friendly faces and plenty of lighthearted fun…we’ll pray together, there’ll be some music, and an in-person message that speaks your language.

Visiting CCC?
Make sure and swing by the New Here area in the lobby. Two things will happen—you’ll walk away with a $5 giftcard to Dunkin’ and CCC will make a $5 donation to end human trafficking in the Baltimore area.

How does communion work?
Each week at CCC we take Communion together. Communion is a time to reflect on God’s love for each of us which He displayed through the life and sacrifice of Jesus. We use bread and juice, and these symbols remind us that Jesus gave His body and shed His blood on the cross so we could be forgiven.
KIDS
C3 Kids is available at all services and has taken numerous steps to help ensure a safe, off-the-charts environment for your child. Check out the C3 Kids Page for all the details and to learn more about visiting C3 Kids, online content, and more.

What If I have a Question While at CCC?
We want you to feel at home the minute you pull your car into the parking lot. We have nice folks wearing clearly marked IDs all over the place. There’s also a Welcome Center in the lobby with volunteers ready to answer your questions.
What should I wear?
Will I be singled out as a visitor?
What about my kids?
At Community Christian Church, we value our children. So we’re giving everything we’ve got to make our Children’s Ministry absolutely irresistible. That’s why we have a creative, age-appropriate ministry that includes music, activities, small groups, and a Biblical lesson told in a creative, exciting way. You can be confident we’ve worked really hard to create a safe place for your kids. All of our Children’s Ministry volunteers have passed background checks prior to working with your children. Check out the C3 Kids section for more information.
What will a typical service look like?
We pretty much ask ourselves that each and every week. The truth is each week has somewhat of a unique thumbprint of its own. But here are some elements you’ll typically experience if you’re a part of CCC for any length of time: humor, media, great music, practical messages from the scriptures presented in an understandable (and hopefully enjoyable) way, and communion. It’s our hope that our time together is the highlight of your week.
Why start another church?
We started this church because there’s a huge need for healthy churches that bring the hope of God to people in a creative, understandable, and loving way. We want to offer a safe and friendly place for people to check out God and the claims of Jesus Christ. A place where everyone can connect with God and have the opportunity to grow into the person God created them to be. Every single person matters to God – and they matter to us.
