One of the ways CCC looks to help people is in the area of finances. Whether it’s getting out of debt through Financial Peace University (starting January 26), planning your estate (seminar in the fall), simple budget classes, or helping people through The Pantry, there are lots of ways you can get help managing your money.

Another critical area to consider is protecting your finances from online fraud, and it’s becoming more important each year. In 2021, consumers reported losing more than $5.8 billion to fraud, an increase of more than 70 percent over the previous year.

That’s why CCC is hosting a seminar on How to Protect Your Finances Online, led by Sarah, a CCC’er who works for the FBI in the online fraud division. Sarah will focus on the “ingredients” of the 2 most common scams, romance scams and tech fraud scams, and how to guard against them.
