If you have suffered the sting of loss, you know that the holidays can be a difficult time of year. Christmas memories can be vivid, and holiday traditions are filled with them. And yet, God understands our grief and our loneliness. It’s the very reason he sent Jesus that first Christmas.
If you’re grappling with the pain of grief this holiday, make plans now to attend the Blue Christmas service on December 14th at 7:00 PM. You can attend in-person or you can participate through the live stream by clicking HERE.
The Blue Christmas service is designed to help you celebrate the coming of Jesus, even in the midst of deep feelings of loss. During the service you will have the chance to engage and interact in private ways that can help you to acknowledge your loss and still worship God.
If you participate in the live stream, make sure you have something to write with and on, a candle and some matches, and supplies for communion (bread and juice).
