“My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends. You are my friends if you do what I command.”
John 15:12-14 (NIV)
Pointing our lives towards Jesus and becoming his apprentice is about acknowledging our need for him and his grace. It’s also about undertaking a journey of obedience and submission to him and his ways, and the way of Jesus is sacrificial love. Spend some time considering how Jesus has loved, accepted, and forgiven you. What is something you can do this week to show that same love to someone in your life?
