NEW HERE?

Welcome to Community Christian Church! We are all about helping people find their way back to God. We think God wants us to live the best lives possible, and we would love to help you figure out what that looks like. No one’s perfect around here, we’re just real people talking about God in real life ways.

If you’re new here, we want you to know you’re in a safe place to explore a relationship with God. We’d love to come alongside you and help you on your journey of faith in any way we can. From our Sunday services to our children’s programs, small groups, and events, we want to help you find your way back to God because we all need to come back to God in some way or another.

You might want to check out Starting Point. It is by far the best way to begin your journey here at CCC. You’ll get to hear a little bit about who we are, you can meet some other new attenders, and ask whatever questions you might have about CCC. Food and childcare are provided. Get registered for the next Starting Point HERE.

We’d love to see you at one of our services soon! Make sure and swing by the New Here Area in the lobby. We’d love to meet you and you’ll most likely get a little gift for taking a chance on CCC. Services are Sundays at 9:00 & 10:45AM. C3 Kids programming is offered at each of our identical services. WARNING – once your kids experience C3 Kids, they’ll be getting you out of bed to come back!

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

When are your services?

Services are held on Sunday mornings at 9:00 & 10:45AM at 8009 Corporate Drive.  Each service is about 70 minutes in length.

What if I have questions while I’m there at CCC?

We want you to feel at home the minute you pull your car into the parking lot. We have nice folks wearing clearly marked IDs all over the place. There’s also an Welcome Center when you first walk in the front door.

What should I wear?

Don’t make any special arrangements, just be you. We want you to come as you are. We like to say “No need to get dressed up. Just get dressed!”

Will I be singled out as a visitor?

Rest assured that you won’t be put on the spot, singled-out, or embarrassed. As our guest, we will not ask you to announce yourself or differentiate yourself in any way. Feel free to travel at your own pace. We’re glad that you took a chance to spend some of your morning with us. Our hope is that you’ll just come, enjoy the service, and get a sense of where we’re headed as a community. So in a nutshell…no, you won’t be singled out.

Will I be asked to give money?

As a guest, you will not be expected to participate in the giving portion of our service. However, if CCC is your church home, we ask you to be faithful in giving to God and partner with us in accomplishing his dream for White Marsh and the world.

What about my kids?

At Community Christian Church, we value our children. So we’re giving everything we’ve got to make our Children’s Ministry absolutely irresistible. That’s why we have a creative, age appropriate ministry that includes music, activities, small groups, and a Biblical lesson told in a creative, exciting way. You can be confident we’ve worked really hard to create a safe place for your kids. All of our Children’s Ministry volunteers have passed background checks prior to working with your children.  Check out the C3 Kids section for more information.

What will a typical service look like?

We pretty much ask ourselves that each and every week. The truth is each week has somewhat of a unique thumbprint of its own. But here are some elements you’ll typically experience if you’re a part of CCC for any length of time: humor, media, great music, practical messages from the scriptures presented in an understandable (and hopefully enjoyable) way, and communion. It’s our hope that our time together on Sunday mornings is the highlight of your week.

Why start another church?

We want to offer a safe and friendly place for people to check out God and the claims of Jesus Christ. A place where everyone can reconnect with God and have the opportunity to grow into the person God originally intended them to be. We’ve started this church to bring the hope of God to people in a creative, relevant, and loving way. And perhaps the best way to do that is by starting new and healthy churches. There is simply a great need here on the East Coast, and certainly here in Maryland. There are millions of people right here in this region of the country and every single one matters to God – and they matter to us.
