ArtBeat is a unique experience where campers have the opportunity to choose a course track (called a Beat) for the week. These Beats are designed to help enhance the talents, abilities, and interests of the campers based on their strengths and interests.
Here are the tracks offered this year:
Junior Beat (All 3rd Graders): NEW! This track is designed for 3rd Graders that are new to ArtBeat! It will be a great introduction that gives campers the opportunity to experience every beat: Performance, Design, Media, Costume, with the option of being part of the performance on stage (or not). Campers will see and experience everything that goes into the ArtBeat week. Please note, ALL 3rd graders will be a part of Junior Beat.
Design Beat (Off Stage): This track is geared for campers who enjoy the arts but can do without the “drama.” If your student likes painting, creating, working with tools, or working with their hands, then this track is right up their alley. The Design Beat track will work on imagining, building, painting, and creating the set for our production from scratch! Come ready in painting clothes and work gloves!
Media Beat (Off Stage): If your camper is into computers, really loves uploading pictures and selfies to Instagram, or enjoys taking pictures and making collages, then this track is for them! Campers in the Media Beat track will help capture the moments from the week through photography and use computers and design skills to help enhance our productions on Friday & Saturday.
Prop & Costume Beat (Off Stage): Perhaps your student is a behind-the-scenes kind of kid who is crafty, loves accompanying you on a trip to Michaels, and loves working with fabric and other props. Join this track to help imagine and create the costumes and props for our shows. Campers in the Costume Beat track will also play a huge role during our productions by helping manage the stage and props.
Performance Beat (On Stage): This track is designed for kids who LOVE singing, dancing, and performing. If your student is great at memorizing lines, loves to move, dance, and sing, then this track is totally designed for them! Once our week comes to a close it will be time for “lights, camera, action!” If your child is signing up for Performance Beat, they will need to select an audition date when they register.
Early registration opens Sunday, April 7 at 1PM and is $150 per camper. If you are registering more than one child in the same family, you are eligible for a 20% sibling discount. Please note you must enter the code “SIBLING” at check out.
Open Registration begins Monday, May 27 and is $175 per camper. Again, if you are registering more than one child in the same family, you are eligible for a discount as noted above.
Please note that ArtBeat space is limited, so once we are FULL we will close registration. In addition, we can only accommodate a set number of campers in each beat, so once a beat is at max capacity it will no longer be an option on the registration form.Register
